The South Bay Women’s Valentine Brunch scheduled for this Sunday, February 1, from 10:00 AM–12:30 PM has been moved to a new location. It will now be held at Southern SDA (University) Church, 4829 College Drive E., Collegedale. Please park in the upper-level parking lot and enter through the first door on the left (in the newer addition, closest to the road you entered from). The room will be on the right-hand side.
Best Weigh: February 2 at 6PM located at the church. This program is facilitated by two medical doctors who will focus on the science behind weight loss while providing motivation to help attendees achieve the weight loss they desire. The program is free and open to the public. Please RSVP HERE. For more information, contact Dr. Eric Nelson at health@southbaysda.org or call 423-541-0622.

Youth Vespers Gathering: Next Friday evening, February 6 at 6PM, we will be having a Youth Vespers at the Abraham home. Please bring one finger food dish to share. Space is limited, so be sure to RSVP as soon as possible by calling or texting Tina at 423-620-4759. To make room for as many youth as possible, we encourage attendance by the youth and their driver only.
Julie Shurley’s team will host potluck next Sabbath, February 7. Theme: Sandwiches already made, soups and salads.

As we welcome many guests each Sabbath, please bring double the amount of plant-based dishes if you plan on staying for the meal, if possible.
Men need encouragement. Men’s Ministry encourages men to apply the Bible in their lives, to pray together, and practice Christian actions in their home and community. Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
We are looking to rehome the piano in the Fellowship Hall. If you are interested in giving it a new home, please contact Doug Pratt at 615-424-8588.

ZAMBIA MISSION TRIP (Aug 5-17, 2026) Here is the website for the trip with helpful information on the projects we will be doing in Zambia along with an FAQ section and a place to sign up. Deposits should have been made by October 1 but there has been grace extended. Please confirm your spot by visiting the website and registering and placing your $250 deposit. We have around 40 registered but still several have not made their deposit so please do so now. Also, we could still use a few more doctors if possible.
